Mantis

A dear friend and Feng Shui expert is raising money to build a library in Peru. For her fundraising event, I wanted to give her a painting with emotion. Instantly, I thought of painting a praying mantis. I found out later, they are brought to us when we need peace, and are a symbol meditation and contemplation. After the holidays and having just moved again, I had 'mantis' on the mind. This is the first of what shall be a bug and reptile series.
