Throwing Rocks

I grew up playing in Rhode Island nearly every summer. When a man from Boston contacted me about my 'Trout Spot' paintings, we got to talking about a photo he had of his children throwing rocks in my childhood playground - the same playground of his children. When I saw the photos, I was so excited to paint this incredible, lively scene of his beautiful children. It was my largest portrait to date--and I loved every minute of painting it.
